The Cydni Lawson Morris Memorial Fund Scholarship is awarded annually to a student athlete who exemplifies the academic status, perseverance, and determination that Cydni demonstrated throughout her high school career at Lake Ridge. The applicant should be in good standing with his/her GPA, completed the school requirements for community service, and represent Lake Ridge High School as an outstanding all-around student.

Stacia’s School of Dance offers a scholarship annually in the name of Cydni Lawson Morris to an outstanding dancer who has shown dedication and determination through the arts as well as the willingness to continue dancing and performing at Stacia’s School of Dance. The dancer awarded this scholarship is chosen based on need and having personality and dance characteristics that remind Ms. Stacia of Cydni.
2025 recipient: Dayjha Holman
The Brown Girls Do Ballet organization offers a scholarship to honor Cydni Lawson Morris, a former National Ambassador. The scholarship will be awarded to another beautiful dancer that will continue learning and loving the art of dance.
